बोवनी नहीं हो पाई तो भी फसल बीमा के दायरे में : मोदी
भोपाल। "14 अप्रैल को बाबा साहब आंबेडकर की जयंती के दिन केंद्र सरकार नेशनल एग्रीकल्चर मार्केट स्कीम की शुरूआत करेगी। इसके जरिए किसान देश की किसी भी मंडी में अच्छे दाम पर अपनी फसल बेच सकेंगे. यह बात प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुरुवार को सीहोर जिले के शेरपुर गांव में किसान महासम्मेलन में फसल बीमा की गाइडलाइन जारी करने के दौरान कही। उन्होंने आगे कहा की सालभर पहले जो लोग मुझ पर किसान विरोधी होने का आरोप लगाते थे, वे भी प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना के कारण चुप हो गए हैं। इस योजना में गांव के एक किसान को नुकसान हुआ तो भी उसे क्लेम मिलेगा। मोदी ने कहा कि किसान यदि कम बारिश होने के कारण खेत में बोवनी नहीं कर पाता है तो भी वो फसल बीमा के दायरे में आएगा।
उसे औसत उत्पादन का 25 प्रतिशत तक मुआवजा मिलेगा। अप्रैल में एग्रीकल्चर मार्केट स्कीम उन्होंने किसानों का आह्वान किया कि 2022 तक अनाज उत्पादन दोगुना करने का संकल्प लें, दुनिया के बाजार पर हमारा कब्जा होगा। लाखों किसानों को संबोधित करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने कहा कि । उन्हें सारे शहरों के भाव ऑनलाइन व मोबाइल पर मिल जाएंगे।
डिजीटल इंडिया के तहत देश की 550 कृषि उपज मंडियों को ऑनलाइन जोड़ दिया जाएगा। फसल बीमा की शुरूआत मप्र से प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने कहा है कि कृषि जगत में मध्य प्रदेश सिरमौर बनकर उभरा है। चार बार कृषि कर्मण अवॉर्ड मिलना इसका सबूत है। देश के आर्थिक विकास की यात्रा में मप्र के कृषि जगत का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान है। मप्र के किसानों ने खेती के क्षेत्र में इतिहास रचा है, इसलिए फसल बीमा योजना की शुरुआत इस राज्य से की गई है। मोदी ने सम्मेलन में फसल बीमा योजना की सौगात देते हुए उसकी गाइडलाइन किसानों को सौंपी। उन्होंने इस दौरान प्रदेश के तीन किसानों को प्रथम मृदा हेल्थ कार्ड भी दिए।
समारोह में पीएम ने कृषि कर्मण अवॉर्ड की ट्रॉफी भी मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान को सौंपी। वहीं सीएम चौहान ने किसानों की ओर से पीएम को किसान मित्र अवार्ड और अभिनंदन पत्र दिया। इसके बाद प्रदेश के किसानों की ओर पीएम को सौंपे अभिनंदन पत्र को मुख्यमंत्री ने पढ़कर भी सुनाया। किसानों की आय दोगुनी करने का संकल्प पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि खाड़ी देशों की आबादी तेजी से बढ़ रही है। वहां जमीन नहीं है, पानी नहीं है। इसलिए अगले 15 साल बाद अनाज की किल्लत का सामना सभी को करना पड़ेगा। अरब अमीरात के प्रिंस क्राउन ने भी भारत से भावी तैयारियों की उम्मीद लगा रखी है।
मोदी ने कहा कि आजादी की 75वीं सालगिरह पर हम अपना उत्पादन दोगुना करने का संकल्प लें, ताकि दुनिया के बाजार पर हमारा कब्जा हो सके। किसान और राज्य सरकारें भी संकल्प लें कि वर्ष 2022 तक किसानों की आय दोगुनी हो जाए। साथ ही मप्र के किसान संकल्प लें कि कृषि कर्मण अवॉर्ड आगे भी मप्र को ही मिले। वह इसे दूसरे राज्य के हाथों में नहीं जाने दें। एक भी राज्य से नहीं आई खाद की शिकायत पीएम ने कहा कि 2014 तक किसानों को यूरिया नहीं मिलता था। हर राज्य और हर जिले में यूरिया का संकट बना रहा था। उन्हें खाद के लिए धरना-प्रदर्शन करना पड़ता था और पुलिस की लाठियां खानी पड़ती थी।
जब मैंने सत्ता संभाली तब एक साल तक कई राज्यों से इस बारे में मुझे पत्र मिले, 2015 से ऐसे पत्र आना बंद हो गए हैं। पहले यूरिया का दुरुपयोग कैमिकल कंपनियों में हो रहा था, लीम कोटेड यूरिया के बाद से यह बंद हो गया। अब किसानों को पर्याप्त यूरिया मिल रहा है। किसानों को नमन करने आया हूं प्रधानमंत्री ने फसल बीमा योजना की गाइडलाइन के बारे में बताते हुए कहा कि मैं यहां किसानों को नमन करने आया हूं। उन्होंने महासम्मेलन में उमड़ी भीड़ पर हर्ष जताते हुए कहा कि राज्य के किसानों ने अपनी मेहनत और शिवराज सरकार ने किसान कल्याणकारी योजनाओं से देश में नई पहचान बनाई है। नया इतिहास रचा है।
आपदा आई पर पैदावार में नहीं आई कमी पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि मौसम की मार और बाढ़ आने के बाद भी किसानों ने फसलों की पैदावार में कमी नहीं आने दी। विपरीत हालातों से जूझते हुए भी किसानों ने देश के अन्न के भंडार भर दिए। फसल बीमा योजना की गाइडलाइन आज मप्र के किसानों की मौजूदगी में देशभर के किसानों को अर्पित की जा रही है। किसान इस योजना पर भरोसा रखें और निश्चिंत होकर खेती करें। रबी फसल के लिए डेढ़ और खरीफ फसल के लिए दो प्रतिशत से अधिक प्रीमियम नहीं लिया जाएगा। साफा बांध कर किया सीएम ने पीएम का स्वागत कार्यक्रम में प्रधानमंत्री और सीएम ने हाथ हिलाकर किसानों का अभिवादन किया।
सीएम ने केंद्रीय विदेश मंत्री सुषमा स्वराज, थावरचंद गहलोत, नरेंद्र सिंह तोमर और अन्य मंत्रियों के साथ पीएम का स्वागत किया। अतिथियों का मालवा की परंपरा के अनुसार साफा बांधकर सम्मानित किया गया। कृषि विकास दर में बढ़ोतरी सम्मेलन में अपने केंद्रीय कृषि मंत्री राधामोहन सिंह ने कहा कि मोदी जी ने सरकार बनने के बाद किसानों और गरीबों के लिए योजना बनाई थी। पहली बार सॉइल हेल्थ कार्ड बनाने के लिए किसी सरकार ने राशि दी है। किसानों के विकास के लिए अनेक योजनाएं लागू की गई हैं। इस कारण देश की कृषि विकास दर में लगातार बढ़ोतरी हुई है।
सीएम मुख्यमंत्री शिवराज सिंह चौहान ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने पूरी दुनिया में भारत की साख स्थापित की है। उन्होंने कहा कि पीएम आज किसानों के लिए सौगात लेकर आए हैं। मोदी सरकार ने 43 सौ करोड़ रुपए की राहत किसानों को दी। कांग्रेस के राज में ऐसा कभी नहीं हुआ।
दो हजार करोड़ सूखा राहत में मप्र को दिए। किसानों से सवाल करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ने पूछा कि बताओ अच्छे दिन आए कि नहीं। किसानों ने हाथ उठाकर हामी भरी। सीएम ने कहा कि 36 लाख हैक्टेयर क्षेत्र में सिंचाई का रकबा पहुंच गया है। उन्होंने बोला कि फसल बीमा योजना किसानों के लिए वरदान साबित होगी। किसान बीमा योजना से देश के किसानों के अच्छे दिन आ गए हैं।

Mohit Kumar Goel has created a flutter in India launching the world’s cheapest smartphone.

Ringing Bells, the company that claims to have launched the cheapest smartphone in the world, is a newbie in the 100-million-units-annually sold Indian smartphone market.

While the unbelievably low price tag of Rs 251 has created interest among customers, what's even more intriguing is the background of the company.

Incorporated in September 2015, Ringing Bells is owned by a UP-based business family.

The company has three directors - Mohit Kumar Goel, Sushma Devi and Rajesh Kumar.

While Sushma and Rajesh are Mohit Goel's parents, the younger Goel, who studied at Amity University in Noida and has an MBA from Western Sydney University in New South Wales, is the face of the company.

Mohit's brother Anmol and wife Dhaarna are part of the company too, but the Goels mostly keep a low profile.

At the launch of the smartphone on Wednesday, most of the questions were fielded by Ashok Chadha, the president of Ringing Bells.

Chadha, who has 46 years of experience in chemicals, automobiles and the financial services industry, seemed more comfortable talking to the media than the Goels.

According to Chadha, the Goel family has been into the agri-commodity business, with interests in UP and Haryana, and is the proprietor of Ringing Bells.

The family is investing Rs 200 crore (Rs 2 billion) into the venture in the form of equity capital.

The funds will be used to set up two plants- one in Noida and another in Uttarakhand-to manufacture handsets.

In addition to the family investment, the company will raise Rs 300 crore (Rs  in bank loans for the plants.

"The Goel family has invested their savings into Ringing Bells," Chadha told reporters at the launch event.

Yet, how the Goels plan to make their venture profitable is a mystery.

At Rs 251, the smartphone is priced at one-tenth of its manufacturing cost of Rs 2,500.

The company is banking on an "innovative ecommerce platform" for marketing , savings on excise duty from local manufacturing, and economies of scale to cut production costs.

"These measures will result in savings of Rs 1,500 on the production cost," says Chadha.

However, experts say the costs don't add up.

They believe the components of the smartphone, which runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and has features such 1.3 GHz Quadcore processor, 1 GB RAM, 8GB internal memory and two, back and front cameras, can't be procured at Rs 1,000. Chadha did not reveal the company's plans further.

In a country like India where at least 150 smartphone companies are jostling for a share of the market, the adventure seems unusual to most industry players - who with years of experience and well established teams are finding it hard to hold on to their market.

Snapdeal executive goes missing from Ghaziabad, later traced
NEW DELHI: A 24-year-old Snapdeal employee, Dipta Sarna, who was allegedly kidnapped in Ghaziabad on Wednesday, was found in Panipat, Haryana early on Friday.
Soon after Ghaziabad police confirmed the news, Sarna was reunited with her parents in Delhi.
Dipti has spoken to her parents, who are on way to join her at Panipat," said a Ghaziabad police official.

Sarna went missing after telling her father in a frantic telephone call on Wednesday night that the driver of her auto was going in the wrong direction. The call got disconnected soon after at 8.17pm. Sarna never reached home.
Police began a search for Sarna, a legal executive with the Gurgaon-based e-commerce giant. Her company too began a social media campaign to find her, with a tweet from CEO Kunal Bahl saying Snapdeal was working closely with the authorities to find their employee.
A graduate from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Sarna used the Metro to commute to and from Gurgaon. On Wednesday night, she had taken the Blue Line as usual after which she reached Vaishali and boarded an auto for the Old Bus Stand in Ghaziabad, from where her father was expected to pick her up.
When his daughter didn't reach the bus stand, Narendra Sarna rushed to file a police complaint. A senior police officer said teams were dispatched to check the route immediately, but were unable to find her. An FIR was filed at Sihani Gate police station under Section 364 (kidnapping in order to murder) of the IPC.

Neerja banned in Pakistan

International Bollywood film 'Neerja' banned in Pakistan .
Sonam Kapoor-starrer "Neerja", based on real incidents during the hijacking of the Pan Am Flight 73 at the Karachi airport in 1986, has been banned in Pakistan allegedly for showing the country in poor light.In an unusual case the film has been banned here without even being submitted to the censor boards. The Ram Madhvani-directed movie revolves around Neerja Bhanot, a flight attendant on board a Pan Am Mumbai-New York flight, who was shot dead by terrorists during the hijacking while trying to save the lives of passengers. Advertisements of the movie in some newspapers had shown its release across many cineplexes and single screen theatres in Pakistan on February 19 but it has emerged that the ministry of commerce had initially authorized the import of the film but later changed their decision."The ministry issued us a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to import the film and bring it to Pakistani territory but later on revoked the NOC," an official with IMGC Entertainment said. Mobasher Hasan, who heads the Central Board of Film Censors (CBFC), said that the decision to not allow import of the film had come from the information and commerce ministry."The film was never brought to us for censorship," he said, adding the commerce and information ministry had also asked the Pakistan Electronic Media Regulation Authority (PEMRA) to ensure that "Neerja" is not shown on cable channels throughout Pakistan.An official at the commerce ministry said that due to objectionable nature of the content which portrayed Pakistan in poor light the certificate to import the film was revoked.IMGC Executive Director Abid Rasheed admitted that there were certain anti-Pakistan elements in "Neerja" and it showed Muslims in negative light."This might not have gone down well with local audiences," he speculated. Pakistan had earlier banned big banner Indian films like "Haider", "Phantom" and "Ek Tha Tiger".Indian films have done well in Pakistan since a ban on their screening was lifted during the tenure of former military dictator and President Pervez Musharraf. Bollywood movies are generally credited for the film business booming again in the country and also leading to a revival of the Pakistani film industry.

Soumitra Dutta, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi, will become the dean of a new integrated College of Business being launched by the Cornell University during the 2016-17 academic year.Dutta currently is dean and professor of management and organizations in the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University. He is considered an authority on the impact of new technology on the business world, especially social media and social networking, and on strategies for driving growth and innovation by embracing the digital economy.The Ithaca, New York based Ivy League institution announced that the new college was aimed at cementing the university's position as a world-class centre of teaching and research for business management and entrepreneurship.The new College of Business will comprise Cornell's three accredited business programmes: the School of Hotel Administration (SHA), the Charles H. Jharkhand-06Ranchi: Birds of 11 rare species thought to be extinct have been found during a survey of the water bodies in Jharkhand, a state forest department official said. The water bodies of Jharkhand managed to draw as many as 37,000 migratory birds belonging to 29 species last year, the survey carried out on behalf of the Jharkhand forest department found.

As per the Asian Bird Survey 2015, the bird count around reservoirs and other water bodies, including 25 dams, in the state was 71,134.

"Loud music and other noises near water bodies scare away birds, due to which proper counting can't take place. The bird survey in the state was completed in February," the official told IANS.

The survey said most birds visited the Massanjore Dam in Dumka, where the number of winged visitors was put at 9,564, followed by Chandil at 7,896 and Udhav at 7,823 birds. The fourth and fifth spots were claimed by Tilaiya and Patratu dams with 6,460 and 5,821 bird populations respectively.

The bird survey was carried out at the dams of Lotwa, Tilayia, Udhwa, Hatia, Getalsud, Patratu, Kanke, Khandoli, Topchanchi, Maithon, Panchet and Massanjore, apart from Tenughat, Konar, Budha, Gonda, Chandil, Dimna, Sitaram, Kansjore, Tapkara, Malay and dams located inside the Palamu Tiger Reserve.

The survey team also identified a couple of migratory birds from Mongolia, including Bar Headed Geese. The other species of migratory birds included White Necked Stork, Oriental White Ibis and Northern Shoveler.

"No proper arrangement is in place to prevent poaching of migratory birds at dams in Jharkhand. We will try to improve security near dams to preserve and protect the avian fauna, particularly migratory birds," said the official.

श्री कृष्ण ने क्यों किया कर्ण का अंतिम संस्कार अपने ही हाथों पर?

जब कर्ण मृत्युशैया पर थे तब कृष्ण उनके पास उनके दानवीर होने की परीक्षा लेने के लिए आए। कर्ण ने कृष्ण को कहा कि उसके पास देने के लिए कुछ भी नहीं है। ऐसे में कृष्ण ने उनसे उनका सोने का दांत मांग लिया।

कर्ण ने अपने समीप पड़े पत्थर को उठाया और उससे अपना दांत तोड़कर कृष्ण को दे दिया। कर्ण ने एक बार फिर अपने दानवीर होने का प्रमाण दिया जिससे कृष्ण काफी प्रभावित हुए। कृष्ण ने कर्ण से कहा कि वह उनसे कोई भी वरदान मांग़ सकते हैं।

कर्ण ने कृष्ण से कहा कि एक निर्धन सूत पुत्र होने की वजह से उनके साथ बहुत छल हुए हैं। अगली बार जब कृष्ण धरती पर आएं तो वह पिछड़े वर्ग के लोगों के जीवन को सुधारने के लिए प्रयत्न करें। इसके साथ कर्ण ने दो और वरदान मांगे।

दूसरे वरदान के रूप में कर्ण ने यह मांगा कि अगले जन्म में कृष्ण उन्हीं के राज्य में जन्म लें और तीसरे वरदान में उन्होंने कृष्ण से कहा कि उनका अंतिम संस्कार ऐसे स्थान पर होना चाहिए जहां कोई पाप ना हो।

पूरी पृथ्वी पर ऐसा कोई स्थान नहीं होने के कारण कृष्ण ने कर्ण का अंतिम संस्कार अपने ही हाथों पर किया। इस तरह दानवीर कर्ण मृत्यु के पश्चात साक्षात वैकुण्ठ धाम को प्राप्त हुए।
