About Dr.Pramod Shanker Soni


Dr. Pramod Shanker Soni is best known for his book on depression (“Depression se Chhutkara”) and his commendable work in the field of mental disorders. He is a renowned author and qualified homoeopathic doctor of India and lives in Capital of Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal. Graduated (B.Sc) from Sagar University and masters in history from Hamaidia Colloge, Bhopal, he later moved for higher studies in Homoepathy and Journalism and completed DI(hom) and HMD from London, MIHMF from Kolkota, and PGDNYS from Delhi. He received advance certification course from Mr. Peter May of Germany as well. Dr. Soni is also a certified counselor of brain checkers.  

He started his career from English daily “National Mail” and a sister concern of reputed hindi daily “Dainik Bhaskar” later he switched over to Free Press journal. After writing for various reputed English and Hindi News paper of India he got accredited as state level freelance Journalist from govt. of Madhya Pradesh in the year 2004. During this period he consistently did thought provoking stories, health columns and articles for different news papers, magazines, journals and web portals in India and abroad. He also worked in a senior position in health4you and world health times and now a working as an editor of popular bilingual web portal”Timesviews.com”. in the year 2011 he completed his most sort after book on depression “Depression se Chhutkara” it was the first authentic book ever written in Hindi language which cover all the arena of depression, causes, prevention and treatment. It turned out to boon for those who were suffering from this dreaded disorder and even did never recognize their problem. It became best seller in no time and still sells like hot cake. Dr. Soni is also credited to have cured many dreaded ailments with his keen interest and knowledge of homoepathy. Presently he is working on different mental issues and writing a detailed book on them. His core aim to educate people, especially youths about Depression and other mental disorders as upcoming generation is highly susceptible for different mental issues.
